• General enquiry

  A library staff member on duty at the counter will answer general questions about the use of the Library. Enquiries may also be made by phone (3917-2914), fax (2548-0143) or email at lawlib@lib.hku.hk.

• Research Consultation Service

Photocopying & Printing

Self-service photocopiers and printers, on both floors of the Library, are operated with Octopus cards or Copykey cards, a supplementary payment method to support visitors who do not have Octopus cards or those who need receipts after printing or photocopying.

Three network laser printers link up computer workstations in the Library. A4 colour printing and photocopying services are also provided.

Octopus card value-adding service and Copykey card lending service are available at the service counter.

Should you need to photocopy pages from a looseleaf binder, please bring the whole binder to our counter staff and ask for assistance.

Study Spaces

The Library offers a variety of study spaces on both floors for users to conduct their research or studies. 40 seats on the 2/F of the Library can be reserved online. Click here for details on terms and conditions.

Group Study Area
Collaborative area 2/F, west wing	Open area with 10 movable tables for group work, conversation-friendly. Each table can seat up to 4 people. Power sockets along windows.	Location

Computer Lab

The lab has 27 seats equipped with desktop computers connected to a network printer. When it is not in use for library classes or other trainings, it may be open to users.

Scanners

Three scanners are available in the collaborative workstation area near the library foyer.

Book Drop

A book drop is located outside the entrance of the Law Library for return of books.

Reserve materials request (teachers only)

Teaching staff may request online for materials in the Library to be placed in the Law Reserve collection.
