Microform Reader/Printer
To meet an increasing need for the printing of microforms, two additional microform reader/printers were purchased and installed in the Microform Reading/ Printing Room in May. For the convenience of library users, all the reader/printers in the room now have side tables attached.

FCO 40
More than two hundred Hong Kong-related documents of the FCO 40 (files of the Commonwealth Office and Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Great Britain) have been acquired from the Public Record Office, UK (http://www.pro.gov.uk). Contained in 25 reels of microfilms, these files were produced during the period from 1967 to 1969 and contain much material on the riot of 1967 in Hong Kong. A content list compiled by the Special Collections for this series is shelved in the Microform Room for easy reference.
